Why SEO Fails!! Inappropriate SEO techniques

EBRIKS INFOTECH SEO COMPANY Provides the Latest and Unique Thought. There are countless people who follow different SEO strategies to make their website rank high on search pages. People follow the same practices, as suggested or used by their friends. These techniques may not always be helpful and may result in failure of SEO efforts.

Let’s focus on the most commonly overused website techniques that may be bad for users and conversions.
Infinite scroll is a great technique for sites, like Facebook, where there is linear information available, but may not be good for all site pages. Before a person lay out page in the form of infinite scroll, he or she should ponder over the points if he or she has to tell a story? Does information tend to be presented in listed format? Another important point to ponder over with this technique is never to use infinite scroll on home page, as home page directs users to information inside the website.

Auto sliders, sticky navigation, etc should not be used, unless required. These techniques are believed to annoy users. Auto-playing of video or animation is also not recommended, as it attracts visitors with wrong attention. The voice that comes out from the background is generally interrupting.

Banner Ads and Promo Boxes were believed to be helpful, from SEO point of view, few years ago Today, they are just putting you at risk for a Google space penalty. These ads should be replaced with internal ads on your website, as it would be helpful in keeping visitors on site and focused on your content.
Pop-up are the other annoying factor for visitors. When it comes to mobile devices, these pop-up do nothing other than to distract. Don’t treat your website as an application. Website users have varying user intents, while on other hand, application users take them to the ultimate and finite goals. Using website as an application may confuse the two. Website should have informative content, where as application should have few user goals that site data indicates are needed.

Content should not be copied. Instead, it should be unique, clear, consistent and contextual. It should be informative such that users’ return on the page frequently. Keyword tagging should also be looked into. The content tagging should contain appropriate keywords and should be limited and finite. Keyword tagging should be such that it should help people find content and should not carry SEO drive.
Vertical scroll sites reduce the perception of the page, permitting users to connect with the information.
Moreover, the site should be good user-interface, right codes and proper navigation to make it easy of user to stay on the website and get the needed information.
