When it comes to SEO and site optimization, people only look at Google, as it is a search engine platform that is base to all their efforts and innovative ideas, just because of the Google’s dominant position in online world. With the coming of New Year, people have started focusing on Bing too. 

The share of Bing in search engine market has increased. After all, Microsoft powered search engines, Bing and Yahoo hold one fourth of the total search engine market share. Recently, the release of Bing webmaster guidelines also supports its popularity.

Bing lays more stress on quality of content, as it says that content is for people and not for search crawlers.

Bing also focuses at page loading time of a website, as website with longer page loading time is not liked by people. Bounce rate should also be taken into consideration. Higher bounce rate is direct indication of your site not much liked by users. The navigation patters and page content are others areas to be looked into.
In addition to these, there are several other areas to be pondered over. It includes sitemap, website’ technology, anchor text, etc. There are certain things to be avoided, like duplicate content, link scheming, cloaking, etc.
